Guest guest Posted January 22, 2002 Report Share Posted January 22, 2002 with lemon, butter, parmesan * Exported from MasterCook * Dill Braised Brussels Sprouts Recipe By :More Recipes from a Kitchen Garden 1995 Shepherd and Raboff Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Brussels Sprouts Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts 2 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill 1/3 cup water 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 teaspoon butter -- may double 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Trim outer leaves if necessary, then slice off ends of sprouts. Cut into 3 or 4 slices of if small, cut in half. Heat oil in a skillet add sprouts and stir fry until coated with oil and brig green. Add salt, pepper, dill, water, and lemon juice; cover and cook 2 minutes or until tender, but still crunchy. Toss with butter and Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
