Guest guest Posted January 11, 2002 Report Share Posted January 11, 2002 why not do something different? this intrigues me. * Exported from MasterCook * Cauliflower Bake with Tahini Recipe By :Gradual Vegetarian by Lisa Tracy Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cauliflower head 1/2 cup tahini 1/3 cup soft pastry flour -- or all-purpose 1 1/3 cups water 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce Clean cauliflower heat, removing leaves and stem and boil, whole, in salted water for 20 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients (sauce). Place cauliflower in a lightly greased pan and pour sauce over it. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes, until crust is formed. Cut cauliflower into quarters. SAUCE VARIATIONS: Combine tofu and white miso, mashed together with enough water to dilute. Mix white miso and lemon juice. Mix tahini with any of these. Add the flour to your variation and water as needed to dilute so it will pour and spread and stick.
