Guest guest Posted January 5, 2002 Report Share Posted January 5, 2002 Here is the Garlic Vinaigrette for the Black Bean and Corn Salad. kathleen * Exported from MasterCook * Garlic Vinaigrette Recipe By : Vegetarian Celebrations by Nava Atlas, page 256 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads, Dressings Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup canola oil 1 clove garlic -- up to 2 cut in half lengthwise or crushed 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 1/2 lemon -- juice of 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard freshly ground pepper -- to taste 1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs Makes about 3/4 cup. Combine all the ingredients in a cruet and shake well. Marinate overnight before using. Shake well before each use.
