Garlic Vinaigrette

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup canola oil

1 clove garlic -- up to 2

cut in half lengthwise or crushed

1/4 cup white wine vinegar

1/2 lemon -- juice of

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

freshly ground pepper -- to taste

1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs

 

Makes about 3/4 cup.

 

Combine all the ingredients in a cruet and shake well. Marinate overnight

before using. Shake well before each use.

 

Per 2-teaspoon serving: Calories: 55, Carbohydrate: 0g, Total fat: 5g,

Cholesterol: 0g, Protein: 0g, Sodium: 16mg
