Guest guest Posted January 3, 2002 Report Share Posted January 3, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Oh Soy Good Meatless Loaf Recipe By : The Cooking Cardiologist, by Richard Collins, page 116 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes, Vegetarian Soyfoods Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound Morningstar Farms Ground Meatless -- thawed 1/2 medium onion -- chopped fine 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs -- seasoned 3/4 cup Morningstar Farms Scramblers Egg Product -- thawed 1/4 cup Wonderslim Fat/Egg Substitute 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons seasoned salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix Serving Size: 6 In large mixing bowl combine grated onion, bread crumbs, Scramblers, fat/egg substitute, seasonings and soup mix. Blend well. Add Ground meatless and blend well. Form into a loaf, place in a sprayed loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Comment: serve with mashed potatoes and a fat-free gravy This " meatless " loaf is great served as a cold loaf sandwich the next day.
