Low-Fat Quiche Crust

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups brown rice -- cooked

1 egg white

1 teaspoon dry parsley flakes

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

 

Serving Size: 6

 

In a medium mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well. Press the

mixture over the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Microwave

on high power, 1 to 2 minutes until the crust is set. Fill with your

favorite quiche mixture and bake according to recipe instructions.

 

Nutritional analysis: Calories 130, Fat 1, Carbohydrate 22.6, Protein 3.2,

Sodium 240.
