Add a litre of vegetable stock cook for around 15 mins, cool slightly then blend to a puree. You can add a swirl of cream for a bit of luxury. (asofoteda is available in small boxes at asian food stores; look for " hing " ). Non-Hare Krishnas could add a chopped onion at the saute stage. Also lovely with a bit of mint thrown in.
