Guest guest Posted December 11, 2001 Report Share Posted December 11, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Scrambled Tofu Recipe By :Karen Alexander, M.A. Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup chopped onions 2 cups low fat, firm tofu 2 tablespoons chopped chives 1 tablespoon Spike 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast flakes 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric 1/2 teaspoon salt Saute the chopped onions in a small amount of water over medium high heat until they are just softened. Add the tofu and mash with a fork until it has the texture of scrambled eggs. Mix in the chived, Spike, yeast flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, and salt. Heat through.
