Guest guest Posted December 6, 2001 Report Share Posted December 6, 2001 To go with the Devil's Food Cake: * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Marshmallow Frosting Recipe By : Denver Post, Wednesday, December 5, 2001 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Miscellaneous Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 2 cups powdered sugar 2 tablespoons hot water 1/2 cup marshmallow cream Combine shortening, salt, almond flavoring and sugar, mixing well. Blend in 2 tablespoons hot water, or more to make a good consistency. Mix until smooth. Add marshmallow cream, mixing well. This recipe makes enough to frost one cake.
