Guest guest
You could add cooked cold quinoa to rice and other grains with diced carrot, onion, celery etc for a quick stirfry. Add it to soup instead of pasta or rice. Always rinse it well. Place uncooked quinoa in a bowl and fill with cold water. Drain in a fine colander or sieve and repeat several times. This is necessary to remove any saponin that may be remained on the grain after processing. Saponin is a natural coating which if not removed can taste bitter and soapy. Most comes off before the grain is packaged. Nutr.
