Time saving hint for editing in Master Cook

My teenage daughter is on vacation from school for a few weeks and has

suddenly become interested in supplementing my vege recipe collection. She

has been searching websites and adding to my MC. I noticed that she did

something that I never thought of when editing recipe. ……

 

Occasionally you end up with a blank ingredient line—such as when you “clean

up” a recipe by moving the end of an ingredient description back up the the

previous line instead of having it occupy the next ingredient line. I had

been cutting the remaining ingredients in the recipe and “moving them up” to

eliminate the extra blank line. She simply selects and drags the blank line

to the bottom of the ingredient list, which quickly eliminates the extra

blank line with minimum time and effort. Perhaps you all know this trick,

but after I tried using delete and cut on the blank line in MC 5, I just did

my cut and paste routine. Dragging the blank line down never occurred to

me!
