broccoli cauliflower cheese bake

another one we could convert. it says bake 30 mins at 350 -- but everything is

already warmed when put into the casserole. So instead of crackers, put tater

tots on top and bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes. (center of oven)

Broccoli Cauliflower Cheese Bake

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 cups broccoli -- florets

3 cups cauliflower -- florets

1 1/2 cups carrots

12 ounces processed cheese -- cut into small cubes

Salt and pepper -- to taste

2 tablespoons melted butter

Ritz Crackers for crumb crust

 

Cook broccoli and cauliflower in boiling water for 5 minutes. Cook carrots until

softened. Place broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in a 9-by-13-inch casserole

and add cheese, salt and pepper. Drizzle with melted butter. Place crackers (we

used about a dozen) in a plastic bag and crush. Top casserole with crackers.

Cook in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes.
