Guest guest Posted November 15, 2001 Report Share Posted November 15, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Minted Berry Cream (Smoothie) Recipe By :Season to Taste by Jeannette Ferrary and Louise Fiszer Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beverages Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 16 ounces fresh berries -- partially frozen 1/3 cup sugar -- or as needed 1 tablespoon orange-flavored liqueur 1/2 cup plain yogurt mint leaves -- for garnish Partially freeze berries by placing them in freezer in a single layer on a baking sheet for about 15 minutes. Remove from freeze and place berries in food processor bowl with sugar and liqueur. Process mixture until slushy. With machine running, pour in yogurt and process until smooth. Pour into chilled wine glasses and serve immediately. Or pour into wine glasses and chill for up to 20 minutes. Garnish with mint leaf.
