Lacto/Vegan This may be one of the very few dishes that originated with the first Thanksgiving feast. In a heavy saucepan, combine lima beans, corn, milk or soymilk, water and margarine. Bring to a simmer; cover and cook over medium-low heat 5 minutes. Uncover; add salt and white pepper to taste. Serve immediately, or can be refrigerated and reheated. Makes 8 servings.
