Ellen * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Millet Cornbread Recipe By : Amber Waves of Grain, Alex and Gale Jack Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Grains Bread Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups cornmeal 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 small onion -- diced 1 tablespoon sesame or corn oil 1 cup pre-cooked millet 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 3 cups spring water Combine ingredients, mix with water to form a batter, spread into baking pan, and bake in hot oven (350 to 400 degrees) for about 35 minutes. * For variety, add 1 cup fresh corn in place of the millet. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - _____ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
