Ellen * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Split Pea Soup with Cabbage Recipe By : Amber Waves of Grain, Alex and Gale Jack Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup split peas 1 piece wakame seaweed -- 3-inch piece 1 leek -- sliced 1 carrot -- sliced 1 cup cabbage -- chopped 1/8 teaspoon sea salt -- to 1/4 tsp 4 cups spring water Split pea soup is good with cabbage, which sweetens it. Add split peas to water and cook with wakame.After 20 minutes add remaining vegetables and sea salt.
