Ellen * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Alice's Cranberry Applesauce Recipe By : Amber Waves of Grain, Alex and Gale Jack Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Seasonings, Dressings, Pickles Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup cranberries 2 cups apples -- chopped 1 cup apple juice 1 pinch sea salt rice syrup -- to taste 1 1/2 teaspoons kuzu This is a tasty sauce for Thanksgiving or other special occasions courtesy of Alice Joutras, a good friend living in the Berkshires. Add a little rice syrup if too tart. Dissolve kuzu in a little cold water and add to sauce.
