Mushroom-Miso Gravy

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup mushrooms

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1/3 cup warm water

1 teaspoon miso

1/2 tablespoon brown rice flour

 

Chop the mushrooms and sauté them in a small saucepan in the oil until tender.

 

Put the warm water, miso and rice flour into a blender and blend thoroughly.

 

Pour the mixture onto the mushrooms and stir well over a low heat, until the

gravy thickens.
