Guest guest
I'm hoping someone can fill me in... My husband loves to shop at BJ's Warehouse, and last week when he was there he bought me a present - a cookbook entitled " Favorite Brand Name Vegetarian Cooking. " It's called that because many of the recipes (but not all of them,) call for one or more specific " brand name " ingredients. Some recipes were also submitted by groups such as the California Olive Industry and the National Honey Board. Anyway, today I finally had a chance to sit down and really look through this book and I came across an ingredient that I have never heard of before - montrachet. I am guessing that it's some sort of cheese. Can anyone tell me more about it? Thanks. It's usually sold in logs covered in a gray, salted ash. Montrachet is best when quite young and fresh. See also CHEESE. kathleen
