This takes 10 to 15 minutes over a medium flame. Remove the blackened skin under running water. Chop 1/4 of the pepper finely. Cut the scallion into tiny pieces. Dilute miso with water and stir in the other ingredients. Cook 5 minutes while stirring. Some water will evaporate and the mixture will thicken. When cooked, mix in minced orange peel. VARIATION: Cook tahini in a saucepan while stirring until golden. Add the miso and keep stirring. Add the oat flour diluted with 1/2 cup water and pour it on the blended miso and sesame butter. Add either basil or mint. Stir. Leave the saucepan uncovered and cook 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Description: " Spread for bread. Miso is cooked.
