Guest guest Posted October 2, 2001 Report Share Posted October 2, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Baked Marinated Tofu Recipe By :Dana Jacobi Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces firm tofu -- aboout 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 garlic clove -- pressed 2 teaspoons ginger juice -- squeezed from about 2 tablespoons planed or finely grated fresh ginger Cut the tofu into 1/2-inch slices. Place the tofu in a shallow, glass or other non-rreactive baking dish large enough to hold the slices in one layer. Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and ginger juice. Add 1/4 cup water. Pour the marinade over the tofu. Set it aside to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature, or 1 hour in the refrigerator. Bake at 375F for 15 minutes. Turn the slices. Bake for 10 minutes more. Let the tofu cool in the marinade. This tofu will keep for up to 4 days, tightly covered and refrigerated.
