They are very down to earth recipes, which to me means nothing fancy. Many of them are veggie versions of the foods most Americans eat. kathleen * Exported from MasterCook * Salsa Burgers Recipe By : The Cooking Cardiologist, by Richard Collins, page 68 Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Grilling Sandwiches Soyfoods Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound Morningstar Farms Ground Meatless -- thawed 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs 3/4 cup finely chopped onions 1/2 cup prepared thick salsa 1 teaspoon chili powder -- up to 2 4 burger buns Serving size; 4 Combine the ground meatless, bread crumbs, onion, salsa and chili powder in a mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Shape the mixture into 4 patties. Spray a large grill pan with cooking spray. Over medium heat grill patties on both sides until heated through. Can be basted with small amount of vegetable broth to keep from sticking. Remove from grill pan, serve on buns with your favorite garnishes.
