Guest guest Posted September 26, 2001 Report Share Posted September 26, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Granny Smith Apple Crisp Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup brown sugar (slightly packed) 1/4 cup unbleached flour 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons non-hydrogenated margarine 6 medium Granny Smith apples 2 tablespoons unbleached granulated sugar Mix together the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Mix in the margarine until the the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Peel, core, and slice the apples into an 8 x 8-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with granulated sugar, then sprinkle the crumb mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes.
