Guest guest Posted September 11, 2001 Report Share Posted September 11, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Mandarin Spinach Salad with Almonds Recipe By :Jewish Home of Rochester Auxiliary Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound fresh spinach 11 ounces mandarin orange sections -- drained 1/4 cup slivered almonds For Dressing 1/2 cup oil 1/4 cup wine vinegar (see hint below) 2 tablespoons sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon almond extract Rinse and tear spinach leaves. Add oranges and almonds. Blend together oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and almond extract. Add dressing to salad and toss.
