Guest guest Posted September 9, 2001 Report Share Posted September 9, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Baked Ravioli and " Sausage " Recipe By : Mr. Food's Italian Kitchen by Art Ginsburg Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Casseroles Italian Pasta & Sauces Soy Foods Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound Gimme Lean, sausage style 1 tablespoon olive oil 56 ounces spaghetti sauce 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli 7 ounces canned sliced mushrooms -- drained 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Preheat the oven to 350F. Brown the sausage in the oil over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring to break up the sausage as it cooks. Place the sausage in a large bowl. ADd the spaghetti sauce, ravioli and mushrooms; mix well. Place in a 9 " x 13 " baking dish that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray and sprinkle wit the cheese. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 5 to 10 more minutes, or until the ravioli is heated through and the cheese is golden. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : If you thaw the frozen ravioli or use refrigerated ravioli, the cooking time can be reduced by about 10 minutes.
