Guest guest Posted September 9, 2001 Report Share Posted September 9, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Sun-dried Tomato Bread Recipe By : Mr. Food's Italian Kitchen by Art Ginsburg Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breads Italian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound frozen bread dough -- thawed 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil (oil reserved) -- drained and chopped 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a 9 " x 15 " rectangle. Cover the entire surface evenly with the tomatoes, basil and Parmesan cheese. Roll the dough up tightly jelly-roll style, starting at a short end. Brush the surface lightly with the reserved oil from the tomatoes. Place the loaf seam side down in a 9 " x 5 " loaf pan that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 375F.
