Guest guest Posted September 9, 2001 Report Share Posted September 9, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Blender Pesto Sauce Recipe By : Mr. Food's Italian Kitchen by Art Ginsburg Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Italian Pasta & Sauces Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups lightly packed fresh basil leaves 1 cup olive oil 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 garlic cloves 1/2 cup pine nuts 1/2 teaspoon salt Combine all ingredients in a blender or a food processor that has been fitted with its metal cutting blade; blend until smooth. Store in the refrigerator, covered, until ready to use as desired. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : Walnuts can be substituted for the pine nuts. Serve on pasta or salads.
