Guest guest Posted September 7, 2001 Report Share Posted September 7, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Maple tofu pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 unbaked pie crust 1 1/2 pounds firm or soft tofu -- drained well 1/4 cup light oil 1 1/3 cups real maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 pinch salt Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Break the tofu into pieces, then place in a blender or food processor with the rest of the ingredients and blend or process until smooth. Pour into the pie crust, and bake for about one hour or until set. Chill and serve. Variation: > Serve topped with wet walnut sauce, available in the ice cream toppings section of the supermarket.
