Bean And Cheese Pitas

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2/3 cup canned kidney or black beans -- drained

1/2 cup onions -- finely diced

1 cup chopped tomatoes -- drain juice

4 ounces fat-free shredded mozzarella cheese

1 1/2 tablespoons fat-free Italian dressing

4 1 ounce pita breads

 

Serving Size: 4

 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients,

except pita breads. Mix well. Split open one end of each pita. Divide

filling evenly and spoon into open end. Wrap each pita tightly in a piece

of aluminum foil. Bake 20 minutes. Serve hot.
