Guest guest Posted September 5, 2001 Report Share Posted September 5, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Moroccan Mint Tea Granita Recipe By : Mina Newman - Executive Chef at Layla Restaurant Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beverages Moroccan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 teaspoons Moroccan tea -- * see note 1 1/2 teaspoons orange blossom water -- * see note 3 bunches fresh mint 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup honey 4 quarts water 2 drops green food coloring *These ingredients can be found in specialty food stores. In a large pot bring all ingredients to a boil, except food coloring. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain and add coloring. Freeze with a metal whisk in mixture.
