Guest guest Posted September 4, 2001 Report Share Posted September 4, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Broccoli Tofu Satay Recipe By :James Mays Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups firm tofu 1/4 cup peanut oil 1 cup sliced mushrooms 2 broccoli stalks -- chopped 1 onion -- chopped 1 garlic clove -- minced 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup hot water 1/4 cup tamari soy sauce 1/4 cup very hot water 1 tablespoon molasses 2 teaspoons lemon juice or vinegar cayenne to taste Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and saute with the peanut oil in a cast iron frying pan. Add mushrooms, broccoli, onion, and garlic to the pan. Heat through and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in the food processor. Pour satay sauce over broccoli and tofu mixture. Heat through for three minutes. If desired, serve over rice or angel hair pasta.
