Spinach Cheese Strata

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

6 low fat whole wheat bread slices

2 tablespoons Wonderslim Fat/Egg Substitute

1 cup nonfat cheddar cheese -- shredded

8 ounces fat-free American or cheddar -- grated

1 1/4 cups soy milk lite

1 1/2 cups Egg Beaters -- (egg substitute)

10 ounces frozen spinach -- thawed and drained

salt and pepper -- to taste

 

Serving Size: 6

 

Spread bread with Wonderslim Fat/Egg Substitute. Arrange bread slices in a

single layer in a sprayed 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with

cheeses. In a large bowl combine milk, eggs, well drained spinach salt and

pepper; stir well. Pour over bread and cheese. Cover; refrigerate at

least 6 hours or overnight. Bake uncovered, in a 350 degree oven about 1

hour or until puffy and lightly golden.
