Guest guest Posted August 30, 2001 Report Share Posted August 30, 2001 These seems a little strange, but a fun idea for company: Ground Meatless inside a popover. * Exported from MasterCook * Breakfast Popovers Recipe By : The Cooking Cardiologist, by Richard Collins, page 47 Serving Size : 9 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breads, Quick Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 16 ounces Morningstar Farms Ground Meatless -- thawed 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme 1 teaspoon ground sage 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 stalks celery -- grated 2 slices onion -- grated 1/2 cup oatmeal 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup skim milk 1 egg white 1/2 cup water Serving Size: 9 Place thawed Ground Meatless in bowl, add the spices and oatmeal. Mix well. Place celery and onion in food processor and process until minced. Add to Ground Meatless mixture. Mix well. Form into 18 small balls. Place balls into sprayed muffin tins. Place flour in bowl, make a well in the middle, pour in the milk and egg white, blend well. Gradually add water while mixing. Pour mixture evenly over balls. Bake in 425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot. Nutritional analysis: Calories 120.
