This was one that she made on TV - I don't know if it's in the book - and this is how I copied it down to make. It was very interesting. It was also quite easy. I think I'd make it again. Jo. * Exported from MasterCook * Beet Salad (for the blood) Recipe By :Regina Campbell Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fruit Salads Savoury Tried Vegan Vegetables Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 c beets -- peeled and grated 1/4 c sweet onion -- chopped 3 tbsps seasoned rice vinegar 1 tbsp grated orange rind -- (1 orange) 1 clove garlic -- crushed salt and freshly ground black pepper Combine all ingredients in a bowl and serve.
