Spring Soup

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1/2 cup carrots -- diced

1 cup onions -- chopped

1 cup celery -- chopped

1 teaspoon basil

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

pinch turmeric

pinch sage

1 1/2 cups tofu -- cubed

4 cups water

1 chicken-like bouillon cube

3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes

2 cups potatoes -- diced

 

In order, saute first 9 ingredients in a large heavy pot. Add remaining

ingredients and cook over medium heat until potatoes are tender.
