Guest guest Posted August 23, 2001 Report Share Posted August 23, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Posh Recipe By : Heart of the Home, Ann Jackson (1995) p21 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Potatoes Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 potatoes -- or 5 1/2 winter squash -- to 1 cup salt and pepper butter or margarine Cut up the potatoes and squash (scoop seeds out of squash) and boil together until soft. Leave peel on potatoes if you want and scoop out squash from its skin. Mash with potato masher or put in a mixer until smooth. Add salt and peppers with lots of butter or margarine. She threw a big party one night and everyone happened to bring a few friends, an unexpected cousin form out of town or someone they happened to meet on the bus on the way over.
