Guest guest Posted August 23, 2001 Report Share Posted August 23, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * (Non) Butter Tofu Recipe By :James Mays Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 cup vegetable ghee 1 medium onion 6 garlic cloves 1 teaspoon curry powder cayenne to taste 1 5 1/2 oz can tomato paste 1 12 oz can coconut milk 1 pound firm tofu -- cubed Saute first 5 ingredients. Then add tomato paste and coconut milk and stir. Add tofu, heat through and serve. I like to quickly fry or boil the tofu until golden brown before adding it to the sauce.
