Guest guest Posted August 21, 2001 Report Share Posted August 21, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Hot And Spicy Horseradish/Mustard Spread Recipe By : The Cooking Cardiologist, by Richard Collins, page 30 Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soyfoods Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cloves garlic -- chopped 3 tablespoons horseradish 8 ounces Mori-Nu Lite Firm Silken Tofu 2 teaspoons mustard 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon soy sauce -- low sodium 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar salt -- to taste 2 tablespoons water -- up to 4 Serving Size: 12 In a food processor or blender, blend chopped garlic and horseradish well. Add remaining ingredients, except water, and blend again, scrape down sides of processor, as necessary. Add water slowly as needed, until mixture reaches a creamy, spreadable consistency. Serve with pretzels as a dip or serve over a hot baked potato. Wonderful. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
