Guest guest Posted August 21, 2001 Report Share Posted August 21, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu Noodle Soup Recipe By :James Mays Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 cups water 1 tablespoon yeast flakes 1/2 pound tofu -- cubed 3 tablespoons chicken like seasoning 3 tablespoons onion powder 1 tablespoon chile oil 1 cup soba noodles 2 tablespoons cornstarch Combine first 6 ingredients in a heavy pot. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add soba noodles and continue simmering until soft. Add cornstarch to soup and simmer until thickened. Serve hot.
