Add pineapple chunks, vinegar, maple syrup, ginger, and green peppers last. This should not be turned up too high. Dissolve the cornstarch or kudzu in as small amount of water a possible. Add this to the reserved pineapple juice. If you had no juice, it's okay to just use cold water. Stir this around slowly in the skillet and it should start to thicken right up. Add tamari and looks about right. This is a delicious sweet and sour and it's good with deep fried tempeh sticks, big bowls of rice, steamed or broiled tofu, stir-fried vegetables, or any oriental dish. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Per serving (excluding unknown items): 758 Calories; 43g Fat (48% calories from fat); 6g Protein; 99g Carbohydrate; 0mg Cholesterol; 2085mg Sodium Food Exchanges: 1 Starch/Bread; 3 Vegetable; 4 Fruit; 8 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates _____
