Hell No, We Won't Glow Salad Dressing

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

3/4 cup olive oil or sesame oil

1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice

1 tablespoon brown miso -- mixed in

2 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon oregano

1 tablespoon tahini -- optional

1 dash dry mustard

 

Blend all the ingredients up in a blender and enjoy over a green

salad or sliced tomatoes. this is also a good marinade for tofu or

vegetables. For more about the super powers of miso see the Book of

Miso, by William Shurleff and Akiko Aoyagi.

 

For a thicker dressing, add an avocado while everything is in the

blender. Miso and avocado surprisingly lend themselves to each other.
