(I should scan these. when I type, I sometimes miss ingredients. aarrgghh!! this one has the cottage cheese in the ingredient list. ) * Exported from MasterCook * Basil Parmesan Bread (ABM) 8-05 Recipe By :Four Seasons with the Bread Machine Baker by Elizabeth Harbison Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Bread Machine Recipes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- INGREDIENTS AT ROOM TEMP: 1/2 cup milk -- PLUS 3 tablespoons milk -- combined 1 cup cottage cheese -- regular or low fat 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese or pecorino romano cheese 2 cups bread flour 3/4 teaspoon salt 12 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper -- or more to taste 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or 2 tsp dried basil 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons olive oil 2 teaspoons yeast -- to 3 tsp Add the ingredients to your machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Bake on regular white, on light, or rapid cycle. EDITOR'S NOTE: Author lists a variable amount of yeast without comment. To make 2 lb loaves, double the proportions. To make 1.5-lb loaves, increase all of the ingredients by one half.
