Basil-Lemon Sauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup soy milk or nut milk

2 tablespoons sunflower oil (optional)

sea salt, to taste

white pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon arrowroot powder

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh basil -- chopped fine

 

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except lemon juice and basil and place

over medium heat, stirring constantly.

 

When sauce thickens, add lemon and basil, stir well, and remove from heat.
