Guest guest Posted August 6, 2001 Report Share Posted August 6, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * No Oil Miso-Mushroom Gravy Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2/3 cup onion -- diced 2 1/4 cups mushrooms -- sliced 2 cups water 3 tablespoons red miso 1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast 1/2 tablespoon Bragg's or tamari 1 1/2 tablespoons arrowroot powder 1/2 tablespoon Wizard's worcestershire (vegan worcestershire sauce) 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules/powder In a small gravy pot, saute the onion with a little water. Add the mushrooms and simmer, with lid on, until mushrooms are soft. Meanwhile, in a blender, blend the remaining ingredients.
