there are many recipes for this blend but a hint of lavender is what makes it

distinctive.

 

shilling/mccormick sells a blend but i don't know if lavender is there or not

1 tablespoon marjoram

1 tablespoon summer savory

1 tablespoon thyme

2 teaspoons orange zest

1 crushed bay leaf

1 teaspoon lavender

1 teaspoon fennel

NOTES : Lavender is definitely one of my favorite herbs; it's wonderful fresh or

dried. If you'd like to dry your lavender, be sure to harvest it on a dry day,

then tie it into bundles. Hang your bundles away from direct light. Lavender

grower Cynthia Sutphin of the Cape Cod Lavender Farm recommends dried lavender

for her special Herbs de Provence. This is a seasoning mix she uses just like a

seasoned salt. Mix together: - Rebecca
