Maybe licking the bowl didn't count when we were kids, but it does now. # 6 - Don't salt your food. One tsp of salt has 2400mg sodium, and sodium makes you retain water which adds pounds. Plus, it isn't healthy for you (only for people with high blood pressure and heart problems). Remember there is salt naturally in almost everything.
