Guest guest
I almost always make grains in the microwave. They don't stick to the cookware, easier to clean and all the nutrients remain in the food. So much easier in my mind. Here is the version of microwave millet I make. My DH doesn't like it but I mix it with the other veggies and he doesn't screach so loud. * Exported from MasterCook * Microwave Millet Recipe By : The Well-Filled Microwave by Wise/Hoffman Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Grains Microwave Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups millet 3 cups water 1 1/2 tsp unsalted butter salt and pepper -- to taste Place millet, salt and water in a large microwaveable container.
