Guest guest
Since there has been so much talk of weight loss lately (Christine and others), I thought I would pass on some of the weight loss tips from Richard Simmons. For those who have his Food Mover, you have this information. For those who don't, I recommend it highly. It teaches you portion control, the most misunderstood part of dieting (IMHO). All bold type is how it is written in the booklet - not me screaming! Tip #1: Get a good set of measuring cups, spoons and a food scale and USE THEM. It's important to learn how to measure and weigh your food so you know how much you're eating. Measuring foods accurately is THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS. Tip # 2: Don't keep foods in the house that will tempt you to go off your plan. Clean out your refrigerator and your kitchen cupboards, especially where you keep special snacks. Tip # 3: Eat only in the dining room or kitchen. No watching TV or talking on the telephone while eating (you can lose track of how much you eat.)
