Guest guest Posted July 18, 2001 Report Share Posted July 18, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Fluffy Dinner Rolls Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 tablespoons dry active yeast 1 1/2 cups sweetener (dry) 1/2 cup molasses 4 cups warm tofu milk (soy milk) 1 1/2 cups oil 13 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour -- sifted 2 teaspoons baking soda -- sifted 2 teaspoons sea salt Place the yeast in a large bowl, add the sweetener and warm milj, stirring until yeast is dissolved. Add the oil and stir. Add 8 cups of whole wheat pastry flour mixed with 1 teasppoon of baking soda and the sea salt, stir well. Knead for a few minutes and then put dough back in bowl. Cover with towel and allow to rise for 30 minutes. Stir in the remaining flour, salt, and baking soda. Cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes more. Lightly oil two cookie sheets. Turn dough onto a floured board and divide into approximately 32 equal parts. Shape either into circles, folded in half or into balls. Place rolls on cookie sheets. They will double in size while baking. Bake in a preheated 400F oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
