Kohlrabi with Horseradish

4 kohlrabi -- to 5

-about 1 pound

- peeled

2 tablespoons creme fraiche or sour cream -- to 4

prepared horseradish in vinegar

2 teaspoons chopped dill

salt and freshly milled pepper

 

Slice the kohlrabi into julienne strips or wedges. Steam until

tender, 5 to 8 minutes, then remove to a boil and toss with the creme

fraiche, horseradish, and dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
